Sell with Animation, like Apple & Motorola!
Effective websites and interactive video marketing utilize animation … on their websites, in tradeshow presentations, in television commercials, for sales, training and more.

Today, animation is one of the most effective ways to sell products and promote ideas. The biggest and most successful companies all use animation.

Animation is being used everywhere – it’s not just for movies. For example, just about every auto manufacturer uses animation in their TV commercials, from Ford, to Toyota to General Motors. But more than car companies are using animation … when you see television commercials that feature toothbrushes, vacuum cleaners or cell phones, you’re likely watching animation – they look that real!

How can YOU use animation? Animation is being used everywhere, in website based commercials (called Sizzles), television commercials, fully interactive consumer product demos, customizable product configurators (web-based) at tradeshows and more.

Ultra Realistic Animation.  Not all animation providers are equal in their ability to produce high quality realistic animation. Experience helps; MG Lomb has been creating ultra-realistic renderings and animations since the mid 1990’s, for both B2B and B2C applications. To achieve highly realistic animation, MG Lomb utilizes the best industry software – 3D Studio Max (3DS), Maya and a variety of other applications. Animation is among MG Lomb’s core competencies, and we take it very seriously … we develop our animations “in house” and we do NOT outsource to freelancers or to foreign job shops.

Consumer & Business Animation.  Consumer animations may take the form of animated product demos on a website (Sizzles), while business animations may be prominently displayed at tradeshows on a large flat screen TV. MG Lomb expertly develops both these types of animation, and has a great deal of experience supporting B2B and B2C requirements. We can support everything from television commercials, to CD based product presentations, and pretty much anything in between.

Interactive Animation.  Interactive animation enables viewers to virtually “interact” with a product (most commonly on a website). An interactive customer experience is vastly superior to static video or flat photographs, as viewers have the opportunity to fully experience the product like it was in their hands; they can open doors, activate functions, simulate product use and customize product features and options. This type of animation (also called Video Marketing) is one of the most effective ways to sell products today.

To achieve interactive animation, a product model (generated using CAD from an engineering department) is programmed to function with a graphic user interface, generated with Flash or Adobe After Effects. For our clients, MG Lomb incorporates professional voice reads, original music scores, and video to produce customer experiences that sell and achieve real results. MG Lomb’s interactive animation work can be used everywhere from websites to television commercials and beyond.

Human / Computer Graphics (CG) Integrated.  Sometimes human actors and computer generated animations (CG) need to be combined. MG Lomb supports this need. Human / CG animation can be particularly effective when used for product training that requires specific, or sensitive, interactivity between human and product. Although training applications are as common example, more creative applications can also come into play with consumer product commercials, both the web and television. Whatever the application, MG Lomb can expertly provide a solution for your needs.

Basic Animation. When it comes to animation it’s important to explain the “range” of animation solutions available. Some of MG Lomb’s clients require highly complex ultra realistic “movie like” animation – while other clients just need a simple animated flow chart, for customer presentations. Although MG Lomb is staffed and equipped to produce high-end animation, we also produce hundreds of basic animations and interactive presentations. Training applications may also require basic animation, and often in multiple languages. Whatever your need, MG Lomb is happy to discuss it with you – large or small.

Architectural Animation. Architectural uses for animations include: pre-sale condominium animations, virtual tours & apartment animations, new home animations, virtual site plans and subdivision animations and more. These can be extremely effective in helping to sell a property and are most commonly used on real estate websites. MG Lomb has developed numerous examples and expertly supports our real estate customers.

Documentation & Training Animation. Animations are an extremely effective and cost efficient tool for use in training and documentation materials. A significant amount of money can be saved, and efficiencies gained, by using animations to achieve wordless documentation. Translation can be very expensive, but costs can be dramatically reduced by using animations to reduce word count. Even better, learning comprehension improves significantly with animation, which improves customer satisfaction and further reduces reliance on call centers and secondary customer support. MG Lomb has developed numerous training and documentation animation programs for clients, all over the globe.

Tradeshow Animation.  At tradeshows, animations provide visitors with amazing interactive experiences that even the real product may not duplicate. Viewers can see the top of tall products, inside them, learn by narrative instruction, and even virtually run sophisticated product cycles, otherwise impossible at a tradeshow booth. But even better, by using animations (instead of shipping the actual product) companies are significantly lowering their tradeshow related expenses. Companies who regularly brought their products to tradeshows are opting to leave the equipment at home. The cost of set-up, tear-down, transportation and floor space are all expenses that can be mitigated (or even eliminated) by using interactive animation. Ask MG Lomb about how we’ve helped our clients to break some of these expensive tradeshow habits.
