Brochures
A Company Brochure can be one of your most important sales tools. It typically includes a section describing your business, its history and current management. Company Brochure reinforces that yours is an established and capable business, at the top of its field. It may also explain your company’s range of products and services. A Company Brochure can be as short as two pages, or more than twenty. Done right it will help you close sales. Done poorly it will be discarded or ignored. It is essential that you engage an experienced agency like MG Lomb, who will maximize the odds that you get a well designed piece. We are expert at incorporating critically important elements, such as: Corporate Identity, Brand, Logo, Icons, and Slogan or Tagline. MG Lomb also employs proven development strategies, like a Competitor Materials Analysis, to assure that your result is better than your competitors’.
From Simple to Comprehensive. A standard brochure is 8.5” x 11,” two-sided, full color, and includes four pages (with or without bleeds). For many companies this basic format is acceptable and effective. Additional pages, depending on the size of your organization and the purpose of the brochure, may be necessary. The amount of content required is the factor most affecting cost. The more pages required the more costly the brochure. Photography, stock or custom, is typically needed and should be considered when discussing cost. Written content should also be addressed; differing levels of writing support (from simple grammatical review to full content development) are available, and will impact cost. MG Lomb has developed dozens of brochures, large and small, and some are available for review in the portfolio section.
Professional Support. MG Lomb’s team can help you to answer questions such as: How many pages should it have? Where will the photography come from? Is the writing and content well organized, accurate, and easy to read? How many brochures will I need? What printing process is best? What type of paper is right? What photographs should I use and if so, where will they come from? How much will the photographs cost? Are they free from copyright or are there usage restrictions? At MG Lomb Advertising it’s our job to professionally guide you to the best solution.
Customer Contributions. Be prepared to participate. MG Lomb can do it without you, but it would be reflected in the cost. Most of our clients expect to participate at some level. Some clients provide a rough outline and simple flow charts, while others provide written content and photography. There is no “one way” to do it. The more content that you have available though, that’s well organized, the lower your cost will be.
