The individual we’re seeking is a well-rounded professional with a minimum of 5 years of relevant marketing and project management experience. Experience with: print and web design, advertising and public relations are required. Sales experience, and experience working at an ad agency is preferred

Graphic / Web Designer
MG Lomb Advertising is seeking a full–time Graphic / Web Designer for our Rochester, NY agency. Candidate must have 2+ years experience in the Graphic Design field, and have: strong creative skills, experience with the creation of interactive multimedia and websites, and be able to provide samples of their original work for presentation to our staff.

The position will challenge the selected candidate to work on multiple design, Web, Flash, and other interactive projects simultaneously. Responsibilities will include: creation of advertisements, brochures, original websites, Flash presentations, product demos, multimedia / internet graphics, and other marketing collateral. Candidate should have strong communication and creative problem solving skills and be capable of professionally and competently interacting with clients, vendors, and co-workers in the development of innovative advertising and marketing tools.

Required Skills:


• Bachelor’s Degree in a Graphic/Multimedia Design or related field
  2+ years industry experience
  Extensive PC platform, Windows experience, Mac a plus
  A strong portfolio displaying user-centered design
  Multimedia experience using Macromedia Studio 8 and Adobe CS2
  Strong knowledge of current web design trends and standards
  Experience using Dreamweaver
  Knowledge of XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus
  Knowledge of Flash action script a plus
  Knowledge of ASP, PHP a plus
  Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform
